The other day I shared some flower learning activities for kids, and admittedly the line between learning and crafts is a little fuzzy, but here are some more flower craft activities you can do in the classroom or at home.

One thing I mentioned in that post was that you often start with parts of the flower, and I’ve got another flower parts craft here. This one, from Happy Tot Shelf, uses cardboard tubes for the different parts. Let kids make it and decorate the flower as they want, or put it together for them and let kids play with it.

These cute dandelions from Kids Craft Room are a great way for kids to practice their scissors skills. If you don’t have cupcake liners in the right color you can just cut a circle out of yellow construction paper or card stock instead.

Toddler Approved has another cute cutting practice flower craft that’s pretty easy to set up and you can do a few different things with.

Use a handprint to make a plant with flowers on the fingers with this easy craft from Beth Ann Averill. She also has a cute spring flower themed playdough tray if that’s a thing you like to do.

Another fun way to craft a flower is by using a fork to make the petals. This looks like a dandelion, or it can be a different flower if you use a different color. Get the instructions from Made in a Pinch.
