I just saw a great video talking about glass with two of my favorite television guys, The Mythbusters. It’s really a commercial for Corning Inc., the glass manufacturer but it’s great information about glass and the technologies of the present…the guys give a history of glass as well as talk about the innovations that are coming out of Corning. Between fiber optics, which is super flexible glass, and Gorilla glass, which is super strong glass, and all the glass we take for granted in our daily lives, we are living in The Glass Age. They ask…”Can you imagine a world without glass?” Something to think about. Now go make something pretty!
