Here’s a glass craft that is slightly out of the usual for this blog but I thought it was a cool project to share. Since it’s made with a window, it’s a glass project. But it doesn’t require fire or a kiln…just an old window that most people can find at a salvage place, a thrift store or maybe the free section of craig’s list. It’s a simple project that doesn’t take too many tools and with the use of a low heat led strip of lights you can make a softly lit wall decoration. I found this through Curbly…check it out. And it’s a video too.

Mini mushroom ornaments made from mother nature’s own materials
It is no secret I love miniatures and I love mushrooms. Oh and of course acorns 🙂 So why not mix up nature’s craft supplies and make mini mushrooms out of acorns? Pop on over to the blog Laura Radniecki for the step by step tutorial on how to make recycled acorn cap mini mushroom ornaments. I might try painting the caps too?
