Bullseye has posted it’s Emerge 2012 application information so it’s time to enter. I know I’m going to and I’m really excited about that. It’s a competition put on by Bullseye every other year for emerging kiln forming artists. There are $6000 in prizes available, such as gift cards and scholarships. So cool. And the exhibit will travel for the first time once it’s done in Portland. It’ll go over to the New Mexico Museum of Art at Santa Fe and then over to the Santa Fe Resource Center. So exciting!!

How To Do The Big Bobble Stitch
The Big Bobble Crochet Stitch is a true statement-maker for those who crave bold texture in their crochet projects!
Imagine your stitches adorned with oversized bobbles that demand attention – that’s exactly what the Big Bobble Stitch delivers. These bobbles are not just big; they’re gigantic! They bring a playful and dynamic element to any crochet creation, instantly elevating its charm and character.
In this stitch, the bobbles are crafted using double treble stitches instead of the traditional double crochet, resulting in a larger, more prominent texture. The taller stitches create a delightful bubble-like effect that’s both eye-catching and irresistible.
