Anyone that runs a kiln or two or three or more wants to know how much it costs to run it or them…or do we? Well the good people over at glasscommunity.com has given the formula for calculating your kilns running cost. Very helpful information and I’ll be doing some math very soon. I’ve always thought that my bead kiln was the culprit for my large electric bills but since I’ve opened my store and taken all of my kilns over to it my home bill has barely been affected. Darn refrigerator and pool filter. But good news for my kiln. So use their info and figure out what you’re paying…
