Super Cool New E-Book From Fused Glass Books – Art of the Line

December 8, 2014 by Cathi Milligan

lines_cover_sSome of the best information about kiln forming glass comes from Paul Tarlow over at Helios Glass…fusedglass.org…Fused Glass Books. All of those places. He has a fantastic line of e-books that I’ve written about here before. His newest book is, as I said in the title, super cool. As a graphic artist as well as a glass artist I appreciate being able to create graphic elements that have a lot of “how’d you do that?” in them. This e-books provides you with techniques that you can use to make some really dynamic designs. Art of the Line for Fused Glass…check it out.

How to Make Two Labubu Greeting Cards

If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard of Labubu then let me tell you they are the hottest toy trend right now.  These mischievous, fuzzy monsters have plush bodies with plastic faces and hands, ears like a rabbit and pointy teeth and were created by Hong Kong designer Kasing Lung and are made by Popmart.

These plushies are also popping up on handmade cards thanks to some Labubu inspired stamps designs from companies like Kindred Stamps. Lauren has created two wonderful cards with cute colorful Labubus and fun sentiments, one is even a shaker card!

Visit the Lauren Taylor Made blog to watch her video tutorial.
