Some trick and treats to play on trick-and-treaters (or how to be mean this Halloween)

October 16, 2017 by Vikram Goyal

I came across this tweet, and I couldn’t help suppress a giggle. It sure sounds like some adults are trying to have fun at the expense of poor kids. The image probably tells you all you need to know, but we found lots of other ways parents are conspiring this Halloween.

It seems mean, but at the same time, I know several adults who would lol at the thought of actually doing this. However, this tweet is nothing compared to what Jimmy Kimmel does every year: encourage parents to lie to their kids about having eaten up all their Halloween Candy. The result, is part funny, part cute, but several parts mean.

I don’t think I could bring myself to do this. You?

Finally, to round off, this is perhaps not such a bad idea?
