Some Blogs About Glass…and Glass Happenings

October 5, 2009 by Cathi Milligan

9624_158957894864_738869864_2646709_5559773_nSure do wish I could have been in two places at once this past weekend. I taught a great glass bead making class and The Mandrel. While that was happening there was Glass Fest going on at Pacific Art Glass. I mentioned it a few days ago. So I found a little report on the happenings over there on Holly’s Folly Blog. Check it out. It sounds like it was a super good time. Demos and raffles and a glass contest. I did stop by on Saturday to take advantage of the sale. There was beautiful glass on display for the contests.

The next blog you should check out is Simply Shiny which was posted by Laurie Wilson on Facebook. This blog has got an interview with a stained glass artist named Lydia and she has an etsy store, LA Glass Studio. The interview is by Kristy and it gives you a slice of the day in the life of a glass artist. Check this one out…
