One of the strange qualities of glass is its random natural. It has an amorphous crystalline structure. It gets into that not a solid/not a liquid thing. Well, scientists over at the University of Chicago accidentally created some glass that isn’t random. It’s very uniform in its structure and was created one thin layer at a time. What they will do with that glass is still a mystery but they seem pretty excited about the prospects. We’ll see what happens…and this information was found at iflscience.com via Facebook.
