This beautiful card has a trendy arch shape with lovely stenciled leaves. The gold accents of the die cut arch, die cut Hello and heat embossed gold sentiment really pop around the rich colors! Watch a video tutorial at the Spellbinders blog.

As the Summer flowers fade there’s still so much that’s still blooming during the Fall, the leaves are also changing color, there’s so much vibrancy outdoors. Let’s take some of those beautiful colors, florals and botanicals and feature them on our handmade card designs with stamps, dies and stencils. Here’s some beautiful card samples to get your creative Autumn ideas flowing.

Below each photo there’s a link, click it for more info like products used, techniques and tutorials.

This fabulous Fall bouquet was created with die cut flowers and leaves with a die cut jute wrap and bow too. There are also layers of pattern papers, a pointed edge border, gems and stamped sentiment. Find directions at Marianne Designs.

This darling design has a layered stenciled tree background, which is easy to create with helpful numbers on each of the different stencils. The cute stamped squirrel is sitting on a tree stump next to a stamped and die cut sentiment. Mindy shares her video tutorial on the Hero Arts blog.

Sunny Sunflowers are the focus on this sweet card from Mendi. Her stamped flowers and scarecrow scene sit on a masked and Distress ink blended background. Notice how the flowers on the ends hang off the edge, this adds a touch of extra interest to the design. Take a closer look at the Sunny Studio blog.

This wonderful card looks like a nature specimen box full of collected leaves. The leaves have stamped veins with colorful stenciled leaves, there’s even tiny stamped tags or notes with the name of each tree. The box is die cut and inked and looks so realistic. Learn more at The Greetery blog.

This cool card from Tenia has mixed media elements and a great graphic design. She stenciled a plaid background on one corner, stapled down a diagonal of gold glitter tape, added some die cut Fall leaves and added a stamped sentiment strip. Find more details at the Altenew blog.

Mushrooms are another Fall favorite of mine. Here Chari designed an amazing Autumn cake card that has so much great texture. She used a stencil for the woodgrain, stamped the mushrooms and snails, adding glitter to the snails, die cut leaves and added felt frosting to the cake top, along with lots of splatter everywhere. Find out more at the Lawn Fawn blog.

I love the colors and graphic nature of these wonderful cards from Lisa. She created her backgrounds with torn masking/post it note tape and ink blended Distress Inks, she then removed the masks and stamped the leaves and sometimes additional shapes, then splattered shimmer paint and stamped the sentiments. You can check out her video tutorial over at the Unity Stamps blog.

Wow! How stunning is this Autumn barn door card from Bobbi!? She created the entire card using dies (with a little stamping for the sentiment). Notice how many of the dies have depth and dimension, she used markers and a white gel pen to add those details that give it just an extra touch of realism. Find step by step directions at the Papertrey Ink blog.

This amazing Fall scene card from Jami has a bike hauling flowers and a big pumpkin, there’s a lovely Fall tree and more pumpkins and flowers on the ground too. She colored her rubber stamps directly with Tombow markers, stamped them and then blended with a little water for a watercolor design. Learn more at the Art Impressions blog.

This beautiful sunflower card from Caitlin is actually a pop up and folds flat for mailing, how cool is that!? Each layer of the die cut flowers and jar are attached to frames inside that give it that terrific three dimensional look. I spotted her idea on the Pink and Main Instagram page.

And lastly here’s another beautiful arch card, this time from Bibi. Around her die cut arch are die cut gold trim and leaf stems with die cut and ink blended leaves applied over top. In the center over blue inking she’s added a wonderful die cut and inked Hummingbird and a heat embossed gold sentiment. Watch her video tutorial at the Bibi Cameron blog.

I hope today you’ve been inspired to include some Autumn florals and botanicals to your latest card creations.
