More than any other type of card I make more birthday cards than anything. How about you? Aren’t we always on the look out for new birthday ideas, especially designs that are really fun and festive to help celebrate the recipients special day. Bright colors, dynamic scenes and lots of party elements are always in style. Today let’s take a look at some fresh new handmade birthday cards created with stamps, stencils and dies to inspire us the next time we sit down to create an outstanding birthday card.

Nina pulled out all the stops for this adorable design. There’s a dry embossed and foiled background, a colorful ink blended stenciled balloon layer, a heat embossed sentiment and darling stamped elephant holding glittery cupcakes from Art Impressions and best of all he even wobbles too! Instead of cake how about some yummy birthday cookies!? These sweet treats use new digital stamps from Sweet November, Amy stamped them on sheet trays so they look fresh right out of the oven, coloring them with Copic markers. These cute bunnies are having a huge outdoor birthday party on this scene card from Rosemary. She stenciled blue clouds, die cut green hills and added a row of carrots along the bottom. Check out this darling and delicious birthday tag from Jane! She used a pre-printed digital stamp (perfect for when you’re in a hurry) for the Panda, sitting him on a big die cut ice cream cone with tiny enamel dot sprinkles. This precocious pup is getting into some fun playing with ribbons and wrappings. Julissa used a festive confetti pattern paper, cut with a scalloped die for the background, adding layered die cut circles, coordinating die cut sentiments and the stamped puppy colored with Copic markers over top. TaeEun used stencils and coordinating dies to create this wonderful birthday card. Using pretty pastel inks she stenciled the striped background, sun, elephant, tall ice cream stack and foliage and placed everything on a tall slimline style card. Sunny Studio is also celebrating a 10 year anniversary (Yeah!) and Mendi has designed this celebration card filled with kitty cats.
