Over at Crafts On a Whim there is a really classy and cute tutorial on how to recycle and up-cycle for sure a tin pop (or tab) top can into a cute gift tin. It does require the type of can opener that cuts along the seam so there are no raw edges but this type of can opener is great to have on hand if you are into recycling your tin cans into crafts. I use mine all the time!
