Powering Up My Dremel 4000

December 1, 2009 by Shellie Wilson

dremel

We here at CraftGossip.com were lucky enough to be sent the new Dremel 400o tool kit to review. I assumed this tool would be like all my other Crafty tools good for some things and not so great for others. Boy oh boy was I wrong!  this dremel drill is the way to any crafty girls heart.  It is powered up and capable of so many different jobs that it’s just amazing.

My review pack was for the Dremel 4000 30 tool kit which comes with 30, Yes I did say 30 accessories. Including circle cutter, sanding tools and a storage box.

So far I have used my drill (I have only had it 2 days) to drill holes in some pendant pieces, sand down some polymer clay beads, cut a round Christmas ornament out of balsa wood and I finished off with sanding down my dad’s toe nails. (ok that bit is not true) but if I wanted to I could have done it with the smaller attachments.

The new Dremel 4000 is compatible with any existing Dremel attachments you might have for older models making it perfect for upgrading to a more powerful one.

Here is the technical stuff on the drill and tool kit (via the Dremel website)
