Party Food – Rose Punch

November 9, 2017 by Shellie Wilson

This stunning punch is decorated with flower petals. To be honest it doesn’t matter how this punch tastes it will look amazing! Perfect punch for girly parties, ladies’ nights in, and of course bridal showers and baby showers too. You can grab the full recipe here.

Looking for some more punch ideas? Here are some of my personal party punch favorites, I have tried to include a few different ones using different alcohols for variety. I like to make mine to taste ,so I haven’t included measurements, but honestly you really can not go too wrong.

Champagne Punch: A classic champagne punch is a popular drink for celebrations and special occasions. It typically consists of champagne, orange juice, pineapple juice, and brandy. This fruity and bubbly drink is perfect for toasting to a special moment.

Rose Sangria Punch: Sangria is a refreshing drink that is perfect for a summer party. A Rose Sangria Punch is made with rose wine, fresh fruits, and a splash of brandy. This drink is perfect for a warm summer day and can be served in a large pitcher for easy sharing.

Champagne Cosmopolitan Punch: A twist on the classic cosmopolitan, this punch features champagne instead of vodka. It’s made with champagne, cranberry juice, lime juice, and orange liqueur. This punch is perfect for a fancy dinner party or a girls’ night in.

Rose Lemonade Punch: This sweet and tangy punch combines rose wine and lemonade. It’s a refreshing drink that can be served in a large punch bowl for a crowd. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and rose petals for an elegant touch.

Champagne Pomegranate Punch: This festive punch combines champagne, pomegranate juice, and vodka. It’s a fruity and bubbly drink that is perfect for a New Year’s Eve party or any special occasion.

Rose Hibiscus Punch: A unique and floral punch, this drink is made with rose wine, hibiscus tea, and a splash of lemon juice. It’s a refreshing and sophisticated drink that is perfect for a bridal shower or afternoon tea party.

Champagne Punch with Elderflower Liqueur: This light and bubbly punch is made with champagne and elderflower liqueur. It’s a refreshing and elegant drink that is perfect for a summer wedding or garden party.

Rose and Grapefruit Punch: This tangy and refreshing punch combines rose wine, grapefruit juice, and sparkling water. It’s a simple and easy drink that can be served in a large pitcher for a crowd.

Champagne Margarita Punch: A fun twist on the classic margarita, this punch features champagne instead of tequila. It’s made with champagne, lime juice, orange liqueur, and a splash of grapefruit juice. This bubbly and fruity punch is perfect for a Mexican-themed party.

Rose Peach Bellini Punch: A fruity and refreshing punch that is perfect for brunch, this drink combines rose wine, peach puree, and a splash of sparkling water. Serve in champagne flutes for an elegant touch.

Recycled Paper Cylinder Face Art – A Colorful Win for All Ages

I recently stumbled across this super creative project on Instructables – “Face With Recycled Paper Cylinders” – and I had to share it with you all because it’s just the kind of craft that checks all my favorite boxes: recycled materials, hands-on creativity, and fun for literally any age.

The idea is simple but genius—roll strips of recycled paper (think junk mail, old magazines, leftover printer paper) into cylinders, then arrange and glue them to form a unique abstract face. You can make it funky, realistic, Picasso-inspired—whatever your mood or style dictates!

What I really love is the blend of eco-conscious crafting with true artistic expression. This isn’t just another kids’ project—it’s something you could easily do with a group of little ones, a classroom full of teens, or even as an adult art therapy or weekend wind-down activity. It’s super relaxing and surprisingly satisfying seeing all those paper rolls come together to form something new and expressive.

The tutorial itself is easy to follow, with plenty of visuals to guide you along the way. You don’t need any fancy materials—just glue, paper, scissors, and a board or piece of cardboard to serve as your canvas.

I also appreciate how this project leaves so much room for personalization. Want to make it into a full face? Go for it. Prefer to focus on a single eye or mouth? Totally works. You can even play with color schemes by choosing papers with a certain palette, or painting over them once they’re rolled.

In short: this is a total keeper for anyone who loves crafting with purpose. It’s the kind of project that sparks creativity while gently reinforcing the idea that beautiful things can come from what we usually throw away.

Highly recommend giving it a go—solo or with a group. And if you try it, tag me or drop a pic—I’d love to see your recycled masterpiece!
