For this painted valentine candle project, you can use any pillar candles you have kicking around.
It’s a quick way to add some colour and romance to your otherwise drab candles.
Things You’ll Need: Stencils, Acrylic Paint, Stencil Brush, Tape, Candles and Newspaper
Tape each end of the stencil around the candle so that it doesn’t slide around. Then dab paint into the stencil openings with the stencil brush, being careful not to add too much.
Because this candle is for Valentine’s Day, I’ve used a stencil with hearts, but the possibilities are endless! Remove the stencil, let the paint dry and you have a cheerful decorated valentine candle.
It’s important to wait for the paint to dry because if you don’t, you’ll end up with smudged hearts. Another option is to paint directly onto a glass candle holder. The total cost of this project was $7.00. If you happen to have any of these supplies around, it will obviously be less.
