Open up to life

August 3, 2011 by Vikram Goyal

Crest

Social situations are awkward. They are harder still when you have to handle two kids, while trying to communicate. This is the problem that our family faces every time we are invited to a BBQ or a picnic where we don’t know majority of the other people. You know how we try and solve these issues? By getting our kids to smile. 🙂

People light up the instant they see little kids smiling. There is something  about it that makes us less socially awkward and more confident towards talking with strangers.

While gushing over the kids, people find conversation starters that break the ice, and help to engage with everyone present. We have personally met and made friends with a lot of people this way and we can recommend it to everyone!

Your mouth is more than just teeth and gums, it’s your most important feature when it comes to expressing yourself and engaging with the world. The Crest  & Oral-B Life Opens Up Project will highlight individual stories that showcase how a healthy mouth has played a role in opening up to life and to the world. www.LifeOpensUpProject.com

Clifton Tote Crochet Kit

This pattern from Knits N’ Knots (Janine Myska) is an absolute gem. As an intermediate crocheter, I found the instructions clear and easy to follow, allowing me to create a stylish and practical tote bag with ease.

One of the things I loved most about this pattern is the use of two strands of yarn, which not only adds durability but also creates a lovely textured fabric. The combination of basic stitches and granny squares adds visual interest to the bag, making it a modern and chic accessory for any outfit.

The customizable size options were also a great feature, allowing me to choose between a regular or large tote based on my preferences and needs. I opted for the regular size, and it turned out to be the perfect size for carrying my daily essentials.
