Alyssa’s card is the perfect example of Summerween, a cute stamped ghost lounging on a flamingo floaty enjoying an ice cream on a colorful backdrop. I love the watercolor crayon background she created and the glitter on the sunglasses! Visit the Kindred Stamps blog for a closer look.
It’s August, it’s hot and sunny and am I thinking about hanging out by the pool or making a cold drink? Nope! I’m thinking about Halloween, because that’s just the type of girl I am. It’s Summerween and I’m buying new Halloween decorations, excitedly checking out the new Halloween paper crafting drops and planning this years Halloween costume. Summerween is a fun break in the middle of Summer when all the new spooky merch comes out and brings us thoughts of cooler Autumn days to look forward to after a very hot and humid Summer. And if you’re so inclined you can decorate and craft with spoopy (cute and spooky) designs with pastels and ideas that combine Summer touches with Halloween vibes. So let’s get in the mood with some handmade Summerween card ideas!
