New Online Photo Editor

June 5, 2009 by Francine Clouden

Aviary is a new site offering a series of tools for online photo editing and design. According to the site you can

Edit images, create mind-blowing effects, design logos, find colors, collaborate, and more. All you need is a web browser.

The site provides four separate tools:

Raven the vector editor,  similar to Adobe Illustrator

Phoenix the image editor, similar to Adobe Photoshop

Peacock the visual laboratory for creating special effects and

Toucan the color editor for working with color combos

You can upload your images directly from your computer or import them from Facebook, Flickr or Picasa. Signing up is free, however you need to pay a fee to access all the functions, and have unlimited storage space.

Go to Aviary.
