Natural Wax Candles from It’s a Soy

October 23, 2007 by SandraW

purple urn candleThe Natural Wax Candle Company, home of It’s a Soy make all their candles from soybeans and vegetable waxes grown in the USA. They use cotton wicks for their candles and do not use any paper or metal. Their company sells many gourmet candle products but shown here is an urn shaped soy candle.

Since soybeans are a renewable resource, they help support the economy. Soy wax also doesn’t burn as hot and holds a scent well.

I discovered the Natural Wax Candle Company thanks to Danny Seo from the Simply Green blog. He was posting about a dilemma he had about filling his terra cotta pots with wax. He ended up sending them off to It’s a Soy to get filled with butter cream scented soy wax and they look wonderful and apparently smell delicious too. Check the terra cotta candles out at Simply Green.
