Tatting goddess Jane Eborall is sharing one of her tricks of the trade: One of the best tools for tatters is a safety pin without the built-in coil. Those little coils give the pin a longer, springier life, but they catch on tatting threads and make the task harder instead of easier. I’ve had a hard time finding no-coil pins, but Jane has kindly linked us to an online source! Get the details from Jane’s blog.

This is a fun project whether you use traditional decoupage methods or you try using the iron technique. I plan on trying the ironing decoupage technique because I never seem to be able to get the wrinkles out.
