More Mosaics…

December 2, 2009 by Cathi Milligan

expressing-johnsI just received three boxes of various types of glass. It’s a mixture of COE’s so I won’t be fusing with it. But I will be doing a bunch of mosaic with it. So I started looking around the internets for mosaic inspiration and information. Stuff to share with you too! I know I’ve mentioned SAMA, Society of American Mosaic Artists. Check out their web site for tons of information on suppliers, their conference, events…all mosaic, all the time.

Through their site I was checking out various artists and suppliers. Here’s a couple I found interesting…first stop, Nano Tiles 4 Miles. So much cool stuff…handmade tiles, glass, goodies to make awesome mosaics. Check out their embellishments page, extra goodies to put in your work.

Next stop…Just Gems of  New Zealand. They make hand decorated gems for mosaic. Check out their best sellers pages for some fun and colorful glass pieces that would really make a piece pop!

Last stop is back to the SAMA site for information on their upcoming conference. I’ve been going on about the Glass Art Society’s conference so it’s only fair that I mention this shin dig. Sounds like a very good time!
