Reader Amy Meade wrote to tell us about the new monthly open studio nights at the Shepherdess in San Diego.
The Shepherdess is a bead and fiber shop which offers a wide variety of jewelry making classes. The open studio nights will be for those working in silver PMC or Art Clay who wish to have some extra time to work at their own pace on their own projects and to meet others and share tips and experience.
Click here to read Amy’s description of the first open studio night to see if it is something that might interest you. It sounds like an excellent resource to me, as you can have your work fired at the Shepherdess, so if you love the medium, but don’t have the money to buy a kiln, this might be just the answer.
