For me, one of the most challenging parts of throwing a party that includes children is making sure nobody spills their drink on my white carpet. (The carpet came with the house, but it’s at the top of my list of things to replace!) Anyway, that’s why I love this idea from The Stuff of Success. She used inexpensive dollar store tumblers and personalized them with decorative scrapbook paper to create custom travel mug favors for her daughter’s birthday party. This easy idea could be adapted to whatever theme you desire and is certainly more practical than sending children away with bags of plastic junk that will end up broken or quickly misplaced.
