Make a Modern Version of the Beach Ball Balloon Arch

One of the most popular searches on the Party Ideas blog is “beach ball balloon arch.” I’m not a huge fan of the beach ball arch myself, but I have to admit that this modern square arch is absolutely amazing. It was designed as part of a wedding reception, but I can easily see something like this working well for a family reunion or any event where you would want a really eye catching photo backdrop.

As I am sure you recall I have a pet hate for Balloon arches. Well, how about this? A beach ball arch. It looks simple, affordable, and totally doable and it is perfect for Summer Pool Parties!

You can visit Wedding Chicks for the details, although there isn’t a description of how to recreate this look. I’m imagining it was done with some sort of super strong adhesive, but I’d love to hear your ideas on how to go about constructing your own beach ball arch.

Check out this traditional version of the Beach Ball Balloon Arch here.

The key thing to remember is that you’ll need a latex-based glue to hold the arch together if you don’t want to risk it coming apart if it’s bumped in the middle of your party.

You could also use a latex rubber repair glue if that is easier to find.

Looking for a quick and easy purchase? you can now buy the kit to DIY your Balloon arch.
