Learning to Use Glass Powders – Robert Leatherbarrow

January 23, 2011 by Cathi Milligan

Through one of my favorite email newsletters, from fusedglass.org,  I have learned about Robert Leatherbarrow, a master of glass powders. If you are able to take a journey over to British Columbia you should take his class. Now what will you learn from the workshops Bob is teaching? There’s using powder wafers in your designs…there’s creating consistant color palettes, crackle design, among other things. But that’s one of the workshops. The other offers up more powder information such as veining, color blending and more…Go to Bob’s web site to find out more about these workshops. He’s also teaching in Australia and Britain.
