Layered Candles

July 7, 2007 by SandraW

american layered candleCreating layered candles requires patience which I found out the hard way. If you don’t wait for the first layer to harden enough one color will blend into the other and it’s not going to be pretty. Here is a properly made layered candle from Brady Lake Candle Co.

I like the all American colors of red, white and blue and they  go further to scent each one individually with apple cinnamon, blueberry and vanilla.

I think for my next layered candle I will wait much longer between pouring the layers and make a neapolitan candle of pink, white and neapolitan layered candlebrown scenting the layers strawberry, vanilla and chocolate.
