These bright butterfly sun catchers get their vivid colors from recycled plastic packaging, clear glue and some water-based markers! A great project to bust those boredom blues with the kiddos! Cut out butterfly silhouettes from black cardstock. Paint a coat of clear liquid glue on a piece of recycled plastic packaging (the sturdy kind). Once the glue is dry add color with water-based markers. Sandwich the colored plastic between two butterfly cut outs, add a hole and a string and let the sun shine in!
