In case you haven’t heard it through Twitter or Facebook let me tell you what IBOL Guy is doing. He’s heading up a project called Iraqi Bundles of Love (IBOL) to send fabric and sewing items to Iraq before his unit leaves. Here is the reason he has come to sewing enthusiasts for this.
It is based upon my assessment that sewing fanatics and quilters tend to have stashes that far exceed their actual needs, and that sewing fanatics and quilters are passionate both about sewing / quilting, and about sharing with others.
