In Mourning, and… A Solution…

August 3, 2009 by Vikram Goyal

So why am I in mourning? Because, yesterday as I was mowing the lawn I found several red maple leaves on the ground under my maple tree. Red. On the ground. And I know what that means. It’s the beginning of the end for summer. So what to do? Well, here’s one solution:

ebdrawstringscarfskinny I’ll be the first to admit, for me, scarves are a means to keep warm, not a fashion accessory, but I realize that in my neck of the woods survival is far removed from the runways of LA and NY. So while these technically qualify as scarves, they’re not the keep warm variety, but they are kind of cool anyway.

The kicker…. this is a free pattern! (with purchase of the yarn to make them), but who wouldn’t want that yarn, it’s Eco! And yummy, and everything else you can think of… so click here to make yours!
