How To Make Your Own Wax Melts

March 16, 2022 by Shellie Wilson

Wax melts are completely wick-less scented pieces of wax that are melted in a warmer. The warmer heats and melts the solid wax. As the wax melts, it fills up the area with scent. Melts are also referred to as wax tarts and wax cubes. They are so easy to make and are perfect for anyone who uses a lot of wax melts or wants to customize their scents.  You can buy wax melt molds here.

Wax melts have become increasingly popular in recent years as an alternative to traditional candles. These small, scented wax pieces are placed in a wax melt warmer and heated by a tea light or electric heating element, releasing a delightful aroma throughout a room. Wax melts are a convenient and safe way to enjoy a fragrant atmosphere without the worry of an open flame.

While wax melts can be purchased at a variety of retailers, making your own wax melts at home can be a fun and rewarding experience. Not only can you customize the scent to your liking, but you can also create unique shapes and colors that are not typically available in stores. Making your own wax melts can also be a cost-effective way to create a stockpile of your favorite fragrances.

In this roundup post, we’ve compiled a list of tips and tricks for making your own wax melts at home. From choosing the right wax to selecting the perfect fragrance oil, we’ll walk you through the entire process step by step. We’ll also provide instructions on how to create different shapes and colors, as well as tips for storing and using your homemade wax melts.
