12 Handmade Card Ideas Featuring Fish and Sea Creatures

When I think about Summer I think of trips to the beach and swimming in the ocean and all the wonderful fish and sea life that live there. With Summer winding down and Fall quickly approaching let’s create cards using Fish and Sea Creatures to celebrate one last hurrah for Summertime. These designs work for so many different occasion, for anyone who loves the sea and to create masculine cards with a Nautical feel.

These bright and cheery cards from Karen are easy to assemble using printed dies, pattern papers and die cut doilies. Here’s a more cutesy take on sea creatures with an adorable turtle scene card from Hanh. She created an ink blended ocean, sandy beach and sky to place the stamped turtles who are having a blast surfing, building a sandcastle and chilling in the sun. Gina made an amazing rainbow ink blended background behind her die cut circle panel on this darling jellyfish card. The stamped jelly is floating in a fishbowl made from detailed dies for different shades of blue water, sand and seaweed in a white bowl. I spotted this at the Gina K Designs Instagram page.

Suzy designed a delightful pocket shaker card using ocean friends stamps of a whale, seahorse and fish. She used Copic Markers to color them in bright colors, die cutting them and placing them on a blue background tucked into a shaker pouch and filled with silver disk embellishments. I love the blue and white nautical feel on the card from Tina.
