Today I discovered some leftover sparkly Christmas yarn and decided to create a candle cozy for my container candle.
Patterns for such things aren’t easy to find, so I based it on a crocheted beverage can holder courtesy of Sugar’n Cream.
I added 4 extra single crochet stitches to the first round to widen it so it would fit the container. Also, at the end instead of straight single crochet, I chained 2 and skipped 2 in between to leave room for a ribbon.
This would look pretty with a contrasting ribbon as well, but red is all I happened to have. To get the idea, see the pattern Sugar’n Cream: Beverage Can Holder.
