Every year, the geeky hooker, AKA, well.. the geeky hooker (as she doesn’t reveal her true name), crochets some of these cute little creatures based on, you guessed it, comic books. And she then drops them around the annual Comic-Con convention in San Diego.
The people who find them get to take them home with the blessings of the artist.
What is amazing is that she only started crocheting 5 years ago. For most of these, she uses the basic pattern for the Ogilvy Dolls Crochet Pattern dolls found here.
Her work in transforming the basic pattern into easily identifiable comic book creatures has to be applauded. Check out some of her other creations below.
