Free Printable Unicorn Party Gift Tag

May 26, 2018 by Shellie Wilson

These free Unicorn gift tags are the perfect addition to your Unicorn party decorations. You can use them for so many different printouts. Make Unicorn Food labels, thank you cards, name tags and much more. Simply download the image below and print on A4 cardstock

I like to laminate my printouts as it gives them a high gloss finish and you can use a marker pen that writes on and off, so they become re-useable too. Selling off your DIY party supplies has become a great way to get back some of that money you spent on little Suzie’s party.

Did you know the first written account of a unicorn in Western literature comes from the Greek doctor Ctesias in the 4th century While traveling through Persia he heard tales of a single-horned horse roaming the eastern part of the world from fellow travelers, and thus began the Unicorn fable, or so the story goes. I know a whole bunch of 5-year-olds who believe that Unicorns are real.

You can also take this Unicorn printable into an editing program such as PicMonkey and add your own text, change the size or add extra images. It is such a versatile free printable and we really hope you enjoy using it.

We love our Unicorn parties around here so much that we decided to create our own DIY Unicorn Party  Pinterest board. This means we have literally 100’s of our favorite Unicorn ideas, party decorations, Unicorn cakes, and other Unicorn tutorials and crafts all in one spot. You can check them all out here DIY Party Ideas – Unicorn.  Or check out these Unicorn Crafts and these fun Unicorn Party decorations.

DMC Punch Needle Wall Hanging – A Bold and Modern Statement Stitch

If you’re looking to make something that’s both handmade and home-decor worthy, then the Punch Needle Wall Hanging Pattern from DMC might be your next favorite weekend project. This free pattern is such a vibe—modern shapes, earthy tones, and lots of yummy texture. Think minimalist gallery wall meets cozy handmade charm.

The design features an abstract layout of arches, circles, and soft color blocking—very mid-century modern, very Pinterest-worthy. It’s the kind of piece that looks way more complicated than it actually is, which is exactly what I love about punch needle. You get serious visual impact without the stress of mastering complex techniques.

Because it’s a DMC free pattern, you get a full color guide, material list, and simple instructions to follow. It’s designed to pair with their Nova Vita recycled cotton yarn, which not only gives it gorgeous texture but also makes this a sustainable stitch—always a win in my book.

This one’s a bit larger than your average punch needle project, so it’s great if you want something a little more substantial to hang proudly on the wall. I’d recommend using a non-slip hoop or stretcher frame for better tension, especially if this is your first time doing something wall-hanging size.

What’s fun about this design is that you can absolutely personalize it. Switch up the color palette to match your space, or even shrink it down for a smaller framed piece. It’s surprisingly versatile and would make a fantastic handmade gift for a housewarming or new apartment.

In short: if you love clean lines, calming tones, and a big “wow” for minimal effort, this wall hanging project is a must-try. It’s relaxing to stitch and gives you something beautiful (and functional) at the end.

Let me know if you give it a go—I’d love to see your take on it!
