The aptly-named Family Fun Magazine is just that – a little something for everyone in your family.  It’s one of our favorites here, always guaranteed to have something to appeal to all of your senses.

The crafts are varied and simple; the food is delicious; and the parenting tips are much-appreciated common sense. And did I mention how SIMPLE they make things?

Definitely check out their crafts section and use all of those end-of-summer supplies you’ve been hoarding for the past few months – popsicle sticks, paper plates, paper cups, plastic cutlery.

You’ll work up a bunch of small squares that are then sewn together, making it a perfect project to break up over a few sessions. The bag also has this great textured look, thanks to the raised snowflake design that makes it pop against the background colors.

The suggested WeCrochet yarn options are delightful, too! The yarn gives a beautiful stitch definition, so that snowflake really stands out. Plus, they’ve suggested a few color combinations on the site, but I ended up picking out my own colors to match my winter coat—there’s plenty of room for personalization.
