Sleepovers have always been a thing, but did you know there is such a thing as a planned, RSVP required Sleepover party? Forget about throwing your pajamas in a bag and heading next door these Sleepover slumber parties have been taken up a notch (or two).
Let us start out by saying that Sleepover parties are great for girls and boys. Even teenagers are getting in on these “Sleepover” Parties. I mean really who needs an excuse to have a bunch of friends come over and you play, chat and eat. Always way past your bedtime and Mom and Dad say that it’s okay.
I let my kids plan the night, trying not to interject my opinions too much but making sure the peace is kept and that the kids do not get so bored that become naughty. Especially when the MOB mentality kicks in and they all copy one another.
You can hire a birthday party sleepover companies who bring all the tents and bedding etc, and you are probably looking at around $200-$600 depending on what package you get. Look up your local area as there seems to be new Sleepover companies who Hire out teepees and bedding popping up every day.

Or you can of course DIY and set it all up yourself. Head to a discount store and stock up on the things you will need. Most Sleepover parties require beds, so you can either throw 1000 cushions on the floor and have a bohemian style, with different patterns all over or you can coordinate and having matching beds (to go with those matching pajamas)
Hold the sleepover in a large area of the house like your family room or a closed in (and secure) Garage if the weather permits. If you can use a room with a door that closes it might be good for the noise levels, but be sure to check in on them every once and a while.
It is also a good idea for young sleepover parties to make sure you have the parents’ contact list handy. That way if someone becomes unsettled at 3am, you’re not trying to fumble around whilst trying to call someone’s Mom to come and get their child.
