Two days in a row Daily Art Muse has profiled glass artists so I’m sharing this one with you too. His name is Edwin Timmers and he’s one of the founders of Washington Glass Studio in DC. He creates art by casting recycled glass. This amuses me completely since I’m going to be embarking on a journey of glass casting with recycled glass…but more about me and that project in tomorrow’s post. He also runs the studio…a busy man. Adorable chickens with egg gardens made with recycled egg cartons
Chickens and eggs are in the news virtually every day so when I spotted this adorable craft at the blog Bodenseewellen I thought I’d share it with enough time to start growing the mini garden in time for Easter. I do love that the boring egg packaging can be transformed into an adorable chicken with egg holder perfect for growing greens.
