Easter Picnic Party Ideas

March 18, 2018 by Shellie Wilson

Easter is always fun but it is especially fun when you have young children who like to go on Easter egg hunts. I don’t recall when it started but every year we host our Annual Easter Picnic in the Park event. (We have a park opposite our house). We ask everyone to bring a share plate of food, their own chairs and friends and family too.

Every year I add a little something new to the Easter Party Box. This year I am planning a Giant Dominoes games, but have made them quite yet.

I am going to include some photos below from various Parties to inspire you for Easter food, Easter decorations and even games to play at Easter time.

This was last years purchase a full size photo backdrop off ebay.  I use this backdrop as an Instant way to theme my Easter Table.

Cream cheese, food coloring and parsley created this Plate of Cheese and crackers.

Veggie and dip Easter Pots

Cheese cake topped with mini Easter Eggs for a quick party food.

It wouldn’t be any fun without a little bit of family competition. How many Jelly beans in the Jar ?

Bunny Juice box covers, I laminated mine so we can re-use them every year. Free printable here.

Butterfly (peg and pipecleaners) Grab bags.

Carrot patch, Cheetos in plastic bags.

Our very popular Chocolate Bunny photo prop. Everyone wants to take a bite out of him. He was bought online, but they don’t sell him anymore.

Easter Bunny Sugar Cookies

Giant inflatable ball, I bought this for my son’s 1st Birthday “beach themed” party. That was 8 years ago. Still rolling strong with only a few patchups.

We played games to steal the inflatable carrots from The Easter Bunny from Oriental trading

The very popular Sack Races! Using these Bunny Hop bags. Again we have had these for a few years now and still going strong.

Easter Bunny Ring Toss game was from Oriental Trading, it looks like they don’t sell this product but have a new version here.

DIY Chocolate Bunny game. We used felt for the bunny and stuck it to a frame. The bunny tails were made with velcro dots and ping pong balls.
