Easter Picnic – Easy Easter Water Bottles

These Easter Bunny water bottles are so easy to make and are adorable for School lunches or an Easter Picnic. Every year we host a Picnic in the park for Easter and we play lot’s of old-fashioned games, like sack races, tossing carrots and lot’s more. It’s a great family outing with an Easter egg hunt and of course, lot’s of Easter themed party food.

Bunny Ear Printable

Bottled Water

Pom Poms

Pipe Cleaners

Eyes

Glue

Scissors

Tape

 

 

Print out the bunny ear printable.

Cut a set of bunny ears out for each water bottle. Makes great practice for little hands.

Cut pipe cleaners in half to make a set of whiskers.

Twist two pipe cleaners together in the middle so they look like bunny whiskers.

Glue Pom Pom onto twisted pipe cleaner bunny whiskers.

Glue eyes and nose/whiskers onto the water bottle to make a bunny face.

Tape the bunny ears onto the back of the water bottle.

Trim pipe cleaners with scissors to make even bunny whiskers.

Serve your bunny water to your bunny guest!

Shark Week Learning for Kids

Shark Week generally happens in July, but any time is a good time to learn more about sharks. 

First, start with some fun whale facts like these from Kids Craft Room. Here I learned about the dwarf lantern shark, which is the smallest shark and only grows to about 6-8 inches (about 15-20 cm) long. It also emits light. How cool is that?

Remember the “Sharknado” movie? A Few Shortcuts turned the combination of sharks and tornadoes into a fun science activity. You’ll need a bottle connector for this project but otherwise should have everything you need on hand. Use their template to make your sharks out of aluminum foil. So fun!
