How To Make DIY Popsicle Sidewalk Chalk

April 23, 2016 by Shellie Wilson

8-diy-sidewalk-chalk-popsicles

Here is a unique twist (ha ha an obvious pun) on sidewalk chalk. These ones have been made to look like popsicles using a popsicle mold.  Any kind of rubber chocolate mould will work to make sidewalk chalk into your own shape.

These would be lots of fun as a party favor or take home gift.

DIY Popsicle Chalk over on HelloWonderful blog.

Sidewalk chalk is a great way to entertain the kids and you don’t need to buy it. It is so easy to make at home and inexpensive too. Sidewalk chalk is great for adults who like to draw or doodle too. Grab the kids and find some concrete sit down and have fun.

Looking for more sidewalk chalk crafts? Check out these articles we wrote featuring Sidewalk chalk tutorials, ideas and activities too.   We have a popular recipe over on our site too – DIY Sidewalk Chalk .

Making and using sidewalk chalk became very popular in 2020 as decorations and drawings were placed on the streets by children during the lockdown. If you are looking to make your own chalk check out this Sidewalk Chalk paint Kit it uses liquid chalk for squeezing and painting rather than hand drawing with solid sidewalk chalk.

Viral Crochet Prodigy Story Takes Dark Turn — But We’re Staying Focused on the Craft

Yes, we know — it might seem odd to say “we’re not commenting” while… saying something at all. But here’s the thing: when a name so closely tied to the crochet world makes headlines for something this serious, not acknowledging it could feel like we’re sweeping it under the rug. And that’s not who we are. We have numerous posts and patterns that link to Jonah’s hands; these were all published PRIOR to any allegations.  At this stage, we have not decided whether to remove the content.

We’re not here to speculate, fuel drama, or chase clicks on someone else’s pain. We’re here to clarify where we stand about Jonah’s Hands.
– This is a police matter.
– Jonah Larson is still a minor.
– We will not comment on the case.

We’ve always believed that crafting is a safe, supportive space. That doesn’t mean ignoring real-world events — but it does mean handling them with care and responsibility.

Let’s continue to support one another and keep this space kind, creative, and community-focused.
