I love this modern cake stand it’s perfect for so many different occasions. You won’t believe it’s made out of a Pencil holder. Don’t feel restricted by that though, as any copper base will do. I have seen affordable copper candle holders that would work perfectly for the base of this DIY cake stand. Don’t rush in to making it and take the time to find the right base just for this project. Shop around for something perfect and inexpensive.
