DIY Jewelry Embeded Candles

March 7, 2015 by Shellie Wilson

Candles have always been a popular item in the world of crafts. They are easy to make, and the finished product can be customized in so many different ways. However, if you are looking for a way to add a little extra something to your homemade candles, why not try making your own DIY jewelry embedded candles? This simple project allows you to incorporate a special piece of jewelry into your candle, making it a unique and memorable gift.

To make your own jewelry embedded candle, you will need to start by making a soy candle. Soy wax is a popular choice for candle making because it is eco-friendly, easy to work with, and produces a clean burn. You can find soy wax at most craft stores or online. Once you have your soy wax, you can start making your candle according to the instructions on the packaging.

The next step is to choose the piece of jewelry that you want to embed in your candle. This can be anything from a simple ring or necklace to a more elaborate piece with stones or other decorations. Just make sure that the piece of jewelry is heat-resistant and can withstand the heat of the melted wax. You may also want to choose a piece that complements the scent of your candle, to create a more cohesive gift.

To embed the jewelry in the candle, you will need to pour a small amount of wax into the bottom of your container and let it cool slightly. Then, carefully place the jewelry in the center of the wax, making sure it is straight and level. You may need to hold the jewelry in place for a few minutes to ensure that it stays in the desired position. Once the wax has hardened around the jewelry, you can continue pouring the rest of the wax into the container, making sure to leave a small amount of space at the top.

When your candle has fully hardened, you can trim the wick and decorate the container as desired. You may want to add a label or ribbon, or even paint the container to match the jewelry. Then, wrap your finished candle in tissue paper or gift wrap, and it’s ready to give as a gift!

Jewelry embedded candles make a great gift for birthdays, holidays, or any special occasion. The recipient will be thrilled to receive a beautiful candle and a piece of jewelry that they can wear long after the candle has burned down. You can even customize the scent of the candle to match the recipient’s preferences, making it an even more personal gift.

In conclusion, creating your own DIY jewelry embedded candles is a fun and creative way to take your candle making to the next level. With just a few simple steps, you can create a beautiful and memorable gift that is sure to impress. So why not give it a try and see what kind of unique and personalized candles you can create?
