This tutorial shows you how to make your own DIY checkers board with pebble stones and some basic paint supplies. These checker boards can be made small for a table top or extra large for a big outdoor yard game for your party or wedding.
You will need some MDF board or thick cardstock. 12 black rocks and 12 white rocks.
Your board should be 6 x 8 -boxes equalling 48 boxes.
The easiest way to do this is to buy an inch wide sponge brush and use to create your squares in a single brush stroke as shown. Your board should be 6 inch by 8 inch.
