We all get those cravings. You know, when we can’t sleep and our stomach starts growling and the body craves for a snack. Especially at midnight.
Well, it is good to know that we are not alone in this (and not really to blame for it either). Our bodies are programmed to crave food, and not just any food, but junk food at night time.
TheAtlantic has crunched some numbers based on different scientific data, and based on one such research, our bodies preference for fatty and sugary foods peaked around 12 o’clock and stayed high until just before 4 a.m.
