Hey all, this is Heidi, your friendly Candle Making Editor. I have some exciting news to share today – Michaels has invited a bunch of craft bloggers to attend a summit this week, and I’ll be there representing Craft Gossip! We’re going to have the opportunity to check out some of their new products, tour the facilities, and even meet Craft Wars judge Jo Pearson. I head out tomorrow for my first-ever visit to Texas. If anyone has questions for me (or for me to ask Jo Pearson or the Michaels staff), leave them in the comments, and I’ll answer them asap!

How to Make a Garden Planner with Scrapbook Supplies
If you’re a scrapbooker who also loves to garden then this project from Jen is right up your alley! Using the Berry Sweet collection of scrapbooking supplies from Doodlebug she created a fun folio style planner to keep track of her garden this Summer. She used chipboard covered in cardstock to create the base and used printed dies, words and pattern papers to decorate the darling cover.
Inside is a place for a notebook to keep notes on when and what you’ve planted and a space for a photo with pockets below.
And another section with fold out accordion pockets to tuck in things like seed packets or more photos to include as your garden grows.
Find a detailed video tutorial for making this sweet project over at the Doodlebug blog.
