This has got to be one of the prettiest transformations of coffee filters, sewing pattern paper and sheet music I have ever seen! Pamela Garrison did an amazing job re-purposing these common elements into a stunning decoration. I love pom poms and I never would have thought to make them out of these elements. I am now going to put my thinking cap on to see what wild elements I could make a pom pom out of. I’ll keep you posted!

DIY Christmas Cards with Removable Shaker Ornaments
These fun cards from Laura are two in one, they are a Holiday Card but they also have a removable ornament that the recipient can hang on their Christmas tree too! And the ornaments are also shakers, how fun is that!? She used stamps and dies from Mama Elephant to create her two ornament cards. The first has a stamped Llama on a die cut snowy scene with die cut greenery bough and red sentiment. The ornament is attached to the card with a single glue dot that can be removed and she also added twine to the top to hang it from.
This next card has the shaker front filled with colorful sequins and a stamped sentiment but it holds another surprise, the top of this ornament swigs to the side to reveal a photo underneath!
She’s sharing a video tutorial on how to make both of these removable Ornament Christmas Cards over on the Mama Elephant blog.
