I have actually made pinecones with pom poms before, in fact I am sure I have even blogged about it here. This one is a little different though as the pinecone is actually hung upside down to give it an Acorn effect. You can grab the full tutorial here.

It is no secret I love miniatures and I love mushrooms. Oh and of course acorns 🙂 So why not mix up nature’s craft supplies and make mini mushrooms out of acorns?
