Christmas Pet Gift Deal You Don’t Want to Miss

by

I’ll just say it out loud — Aloo is my favourite person to buy Christmas gifts for.
No awkward sizing. No returns. No “Oh… thanks” face.

Just pure, tail-wagging, zoomie-inducing happiness.

And if you’ve ever stood in the pet aisle thinking “This is way more fun than shopping for adults” — welcome, you’re my people.

Why the Dog Always Gets the Best Christmas Gifts

Aloo doesn’t care about trends. He cares about comfort, softness, and whether something immediately becomes his. Beds? Claimed. Blankets? Claimed. Anything remotely plush? Also claimed.

Which is why comfort-first pet gear is always at the top of my Christmas list for him.

This year I stumbled across a deal that made me stop mid-scroll — and yes, it involves 50% off cosy, calming pet essentials.

? The Pet Gift Deal Worth Barking About

Right now you can grab 50% off select Pet Food & Supplies from Comfort Expression using this promo code:

XM6MAQWX

The important bits (aka don’t miss this):

  • Save 50% on select pet essentials

  • Brand: Comfort Expression (aka the nap-approved stuff)

  • Promo Code: XM6MAQWX

  • Starts: December 16, 2025 at 5:00 AM PST

  • Ends: December 24, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST

  • While supplies last (because pets are fast shoppers)

Perfect timing if you’re still doing that “one more thing for the dog” Christmas shuffle.

What I’d Actually Buy (Aloo Tested, Couch Approved)

If your dog loves:

  • Plush, pressure-style beds that scream “don’t disturb”

  • Calming textures that help with rest, naps, and quiet time

  • Everyday comfort gear that doesn’t end up shoved in a cupboard

Then this is the kind of stuff that gets used daily, not just photographed once for Christmas morning.

These are sleep-through-the-night, post-walk-nap, anxiety-reducing, curl-up-and-sigh-happy kind of pet buys.

The Easiest Last-Minute Christmas Gift (That Feels Thoughtful)

Let’s be honest — pet gifts are the safest win of Christmas shopping. No batteries required. No instructions. No pretending to like it.

Just comfort, routine, and something that makes your dog’s favourite spots even better.

So yes, Aloo is getting spoiled again this Christmas, and yes, I’m absolutely using the promo code.

If your dog is also your favourite “person” to shop for, don’t overthink it. Grab the deal before December 24, and enjoy being the kind of pet parent who nails Christmas every year.

Because the dog always knows who bought the good stuff.

Tiny Knits in Team Colors

For years now Berroco has been releasing a tiny set of Christmas ornament knitting patterns, often modeled on human-sized clothes, called Minutia. The ones for this year haven’t come out yet, but somehow I missed last year’s so I wanted to share them, as well as a fun little twist they offered.

The general 2025 Minutia patterns include a circular yoke sweater, a two-color stocking and a ribbed earflap hat. They’re super cute and perfect for using little (or should I say minute?) amounts of yarn left over from other projects. Make them in Christmas colors or whatever you have on hand. Even if you don’t have exactly the same yarn weight, you can still make these cute additions to your holiday decor.

But what really caught my eye while I was on the Berocco site was the Team Colors Minutia, which are actually different patterns so I’m not even sure when they were released, but they are definitely worth talking about.

These patterns include a little raglan sweater with stripes and a stocking cap with contrasting pom pom.

They call for sport weight yarn, but again you could use sock or DK if that’s what you have in the right colors. And here the right colors are important because you’re stitching your team colors.

Or anyone else’s team colors.

I immediately thought that this would be an amazing holiday gift for someone who you never know what to get but who also happens to like sports. Or has gone to a university that has colors.

Another option would be to leave off the stripes and add a number in duplicate stitch if you or the person you’re knitting for has a favorite player. Or stitch a letter or a tiny version of the team logo on the front. There are lots of options!

If you make these, I’d love to hear what you did with them!
