I love buying gifts for creative and crafty kids. Here is a roundup of some of our fav. Obviously, girls can like these too we don’t discriminate but we just composed this list to make it easier for moms and dads.
So what is our best advice when buying DIY craft kits for children?
firstly look for crafts that require minimum parent input and crafts that contain all the items they are going to need to complete the project. There is nothing worse than a kid starting his or her kit only to find out they need supplies to finish the kit!
Creative kids usually like to see results fast so avoid kits that take several days for “drying time” or have a large “setting time”. Pick a craft kit that suits your child’s interest, for example an army-themed craft kit, a woodwork themed craft kit, or an art project that uses paints, nature or fashion.
