Christmas Candle Project Gift Ideas

October 16, 2007 by SandraW

Ice cream candleCraftbits has some wonderful project ideas for handmade candles that would be perfect for gift giving. The holidays are approaching fast and creating baskets full of gifts you made yourself is fun.

Here are three easy candle projects from Craftbits:

Pinecone candle1. Ice Cream Soda Candle

You’ll need a soda glass, wax, dye and wicks. You can make any colored soda you like. See the Ice Cream Soda Candle project page for more.

2. Christmas Pine Cone Candle

You’ll need:

Small Decorative Pine Cones, large cylinder candle mold, wax and wick.

See the Pine Cone Candle Project page for more. It’s fairly simple in that you simply add pine cones before pouring the wax, although I wouldn’t burn it down to the bottom.

waxed teddy bear3. Scented wax dipped teddy bears are popular now. I don’t get it but a lot of people love them as air fresheners. See Scented Wax Dipped Teddy Bear project page to make your own.
